About the Role
This is a great opportunity for a newly qualified or early-career physiotherapist to join a supportive and forward-thinking Musculoskeletal (MSK) outpatient team in Somerset.
Working in a busy community hospital setting, you’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team that includes experienced physiotherapists, osteopaths, exercise instructors, First Contact Practitioners (FCPs), and orthopaedic specialists. The role is designed to help you build confidence, develop clinical reasoning skills, and progress within MSK physiotherapy.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will:
Deliver high-quality physiotherapy care to patients with musculoskeletal conditions
Carry out assessments, make clinical decisions, and develop tailored treatment plans
Offer advice and education to patients to support recovery and self-management
Work collaboratively with a wide range of healthcare professionals
Contribute to service development and continuous improvement
Take ownership of your professional growth through structured training and supervision
Support and guide junior colleagues, students, and exercise instructors
Ensure safe and appropriate use of clinical equipment
Although you’ll work independently day-to-day, you’ll have ongoing access to support from senior clinicians through mentoring, case discussions, and peer learning.
