About the Opportunity

Citygate’s flagship Volkswagen dealership in West London is looking for a highly skilled Master Technician to join our technical team. This is an exciting chance to work in one of Europe’s most advanced VW workshops—featuring a 25-ramp workshop, multi-storey parking, an indoor used-car showroom, and an onsite Camper Café.

Visa Sponsorship (Important Requirement)

We can provide Skilled Worker Visa sponsorship, but only for applicants who already hold an official VAG (Volkswagen Audi Group) Master Technician Accreditation.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Master Technician, your responsibilities will include:

Technical & Diagnostic Expertise

• Carrying out manufacturer-approved servicing and maintenance.
• Diagnosing complex technical faults and identifying accurate repair solutions.
• Completing digital electronic health checks (eHVC) and preparing professional reports for customers.
• Ensuring work complies with safety regulations and manufacturer standards

Customer & Team Support

• Working directly with customers and service advisors to explain technical work clearly.
• Supporting the workshop by providing guidance, coaching and mentoring to apprentices and junior technicians

Workshop Operations

• Reporting findings to the workshop controller and requesting authorisation for repair work.
• Assessing tool and equipment needs and flagging any issues.
• Participating in ongoing training and development programmes.
• Contributing to process improvements and innovations across the workshop.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone with:

• Level 3 Motor Vehicle qualification (or equivalent).
• VAG brand experience and VAG Master Technician Accreditation for sponsorship eligibility.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
• The ability to communicate technical details clearly to customers.
• Great time-management skills and the ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
• A customer-first mindset and a meticulous approach to vehicle safety.
