About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time position, available to start from 1 November 2025 (subject to recruitment timelines).

As a Lecturer (Teaching), you will:

  • Integrate financial decision-making frameworks with environmental, social, and health outcomes.
  • Contribute to interdisciplinary programmes such as the BSc/MEng in Sustainable Built Environments, Energy and Resources.
  • Inspire students to tackle global challenges in sustainability, finance, and health through evidence-based, inclusive teaching.
  • UCL welcomes international applicants and can sponsor visas where eligible under UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) regulations.

  • A proven ability to teach complex financial and economic concepts in an accessible, engaging way.
  • Experience or interest in sustainable finance, energy systems, healthy building design, and net-zero transitions.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across disciplines.
  • A commitment to inclusive, innovative, and high-quality education that empowers diverse student cohorts.

Your work connects financial decision-making with social, environmental, and health outcomes, enabling students to understand the real-world implications of sustainable finance and building design.
