Aston University’s Research Services team plays a key role in driving external research funding, upholding research integrity, and supporting impactful, inclusive research. As part of this team, the Grants and Contracts Officer will support the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences in identifying funding opportunities, contributing to bid development, and managing successful applications.

Reporting to the Awards and Contracts Specialist, you’ll take the lead on post-award processes, including reviewing and managing research contracts and agreements. You’ll also help ensure alignment with Aston’s Research and Enterprise 2030 strategy.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • A degree or equivalent professional experience/qualification
  • Strong organisational and planning abilities
  • Experience drafting and negotiating contracts
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A collaborative, motivated approach
