Education Lead Nurse – Haemoglobinopathy Network (SELSE HCC)

An exciting opportunity has emerged within the South East London and South East (SELSE) Haemoglobinopathy Coordinating Centre (HCC) for a senior nurse to take on a strategic and influential role as an Education Lead Nurse.
This position sits at the heart of a nationally recognised initiative led by NHS England to improve care for individuals living with conditions such as sickle cell disease and thalassaemia. As part of one of ten Haemoglobinopathy Coordinating Centres across England, you will help shape education, workforce capability, and clinical standards across a large regional network.
About the Role
As the Network Education Lead Nurse, you will provide visible and effective leadership across the haemoglobinopathy network. You will champion high-quality, equitable, and patient-centred care, ensuring that services meet national expectations such as those outlined in the .
This is a role for a forward-thinking and motivated senior nurse who is passionate about education, leadership, and service improvement. You will work collaboratively with clinical leaders, multidisciplinary teams, and patient groups to strengthen care delivery and professional development across the network.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Clinical Excellence
