Band 7 – Specialist Nurse/SALT/OT/ASW Psychological Practitioner
We are excited to invite applications for a Specialist Nurse/SALT/OT/ASW Psychological Practitioner to join the well-established Autism Assessment Team at North East London NHS Foundation Trust (NELFT). This role primarily involves working with children, young people, and their families or carers. It’s a fantastic opportunity to become part of our skilled, dedicated, and friendly team.
Main Responsibilities
As a Specialist Practitioner, you will play a key role in providing support to children and young people with autism and their families. You will be part of a highly collaborative team focused on delivering exceptional care and assessments.
About NELFT
At NELFT, we place significant value on welcoming and supporting new starters. All new employees will begin on the first Monday of each month and will undergo a thorough two-week induction. This will include mandatory training, systems training, and equipment allocation. You will also have the chance to meet the executive team and senior managers, as well as attend various sessions focusing on engagement, health and wellbeing, and essential processes. Induction takes place at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
Probationary Period
This position will be subject to a probationary period, with the exception of internal applicants who are not currently part-way through a probation or working as a bank member of staff.
