We are looking for a Senior Web Frontend Engineer to lead the architecture and development of a scalable, high-performance web application. This role will focus on delivering exceptional user experiences to millions of users, leveraging React.js, TypeScript, MobX, Canvas, TailwindCSS, Turborepo, Vite, and Playwright.

You will be responsible for frontend architecture, performance optimization, and component design, while collaborating closely with backend engineers, product owners, and cross-functional teams.

  • Take ownership from feature design to integration, collaborating with backend teams to deliver full-stack solutions.
  • Analyze product design complexity, plan workload, communicate risks, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Continuously optimize web performance, focusing on rendering speed and runtime efficiency.
  • Stay updated with emerging frontend technologies and integrate best practices to maintain cutting-edge solutions.
  • Work within a small, multicultural team to deliver high-quality features in a fast-paced environment.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience architecting and developing large-scale web applications, preferably SaaS platforms with millions of users.
  • Strong expertise in React.js, component-based architecture, and frontend frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of state management using MobX or similar observer patterns.
  • Pragmatic, autonomous, and iterative mindset, prioritizing speed of iteration over perfection.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate with stakeholders and showcase your work.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, able to break down complex challenges and deliver effective solutions.
  • If you don’t meet every point above but feel you can contribute, we encourage you to apply.

Benefits

  • Flexible remote work from anywhere in Europe (within 3-hour flight to Paris HQ).
  • Monthly Paris office visits, yearly retreats, offsites, and hackathons.
  • 30 days annual leave plus local public holidays.
  • Competitive equity package with Stock Options/BSPCE.
  • €1,000 home office grant OR €400/month coworking stipend.
  • €1,000 annual learning & development budget.
