About the Role
This is a senior leadership position within the Business School, where you’ll take responsibility for managing a professional services team and supporting key strategic priorities.
You’ll work closely with senior academic leaders, including Associate Deans, helping to deliver initiatives related to:
- Education and student experience
- Global engagement and partnerships
- Income diversification and programme development
The role is both strategic and operational. You’ll be involved in shaping policies, improving systems, and ensuring compliance with higher education regulations.
You’ll also:
- Represent the Business School in senior committees and meetings
- Interpret complex data to support decision-making
- Drive improvements across academic programmes and services
- Contribute toward achieving prestigious “triple crown” accreditation
About You
You’re someone who understands how universities work behind the scenes and can confidently operate at a senior level.
Essential qualities:
- Experience in higher education administration or programme management
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
- Excellent communication skills across diverse stakeholders
Desirable:
- Experience in a Business School environment
- Knowledge of accreditation bodies and quality assurance processes
- Familiarity with UK higher education governance
You should be comfortable leading teams, solving problems, and contributing to long-term strategy while maintaining day-to-day operational excellence.
