Repair Technician – Aerospace Environment

As a Repair Technician in an aerospace setting, you will be responsible for repairing, modifying, and overhauling electronic avionic assemblies and printed circuit boards for both civil and military customers.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform fault diagnosis down to the component level and carry out necessary repairs.
  • Operate both manual and automated test equipment.
  • Support engineering and quality investigations, as well as project work, as needed.
  • Follow detailed instructions and interpret complex digital/analogue circuit diagrams.
  • Complete all relevant paperwork to ensure traceability and compliance throughout the repair process.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Proven experience in fault diagnosis and testing of electronic components is essential.
  • Ability to use detailed manuals, drawings, and other documentation to support troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Minimum of ONC (Ordinary National Certificate) or equivalent apprenticeship experience or similar level of knowledge.
  • PC literacy is required.
