Are you a committed, compassionate NMC-registered Nurse currently working in a UK nursing home and looking for a positive change?
We are supporting a respected care provider seeking a skilled nurse who is ready to continue delivering high-quality, person-centred care while progressing professionally. This opportunity is open only to candidates already in the UK who hold a valid NMC PIN and are currently sponsored under the Health & Care Worker visa, as an Undefined Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) is available for a transfer of employer.
About the Role
As a Registered Nurse within the home, you will play a central role in ensuring residents receive safe, dignified and responsive care. You will combine strong clinical skills with empathy, leadership and attention to detail.
This position is ideal for a nurse who values teamwork, clinical excellence and building meaningful relationships with residents and their families.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care & Safety
- Deliver nursing care tailored to individual care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments safely in line with best practice and regulatory standards.
- Monitor residents’ conditions, including vital signs and ongoing health changes.
- Maintain accurate, timely and confidential clinical documentation.
- Follow infection prevention and control procedures in line with national guidance.
Assessment & Care Planning
- Carry out comprehensive health assessments.
- Contribute to care planning reviews and risk assessments.
- Escalate concerns appropriately to ensure timely intervention.
Communication & Teamwork
- Work collaboratively with GPs, allied health professionals and care staff.
- Communicate clearly and sensitively with residents and their families.
- Support, mentor and guide junior staff and care assistants.
Essential Requirements
- Active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) with a valid PIN.
- Currently employed as a Nurse within a UK Nursing Home.
- Present in the UK and sponsored under the Health & Care Worker visa.
- Eligible to switch employer under UK visa regulations (Undefined CoS route).
- Strong clinical competence and up-to-date knowledge of UK care standards.
- Compassionate, resident-focused approach to care delivery.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
