Registered Nurse UK Visa Sponsorship

Uk
March 5, 2026
£33 - £41 / year

Job Description

NHS Forth Valley is currently seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to join our teams across various settings. We warmly invite applications from qualified professionals in Adult Nursing, Mental Health, and Learning Disability fields, all of whom must hold a valid NMC PIN.

We have multiple opportunities available at Band 5 level, including full-time and part-time positions. These roles span inpatient wards, community services, and healthcare provision within prisons, allowing you to make a real difference in diverse environments.

We’re eager to hear from nurses who are passionate, motivated, and truly compassionate. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong communication abilities, solid organisational skills, and a collaborative approach when working within multidisciplinary teams. A genuine commitment to delivering person-centred, high-quality care is essential, along with a proactive attitude toward continuous professional growth—for yourself and to support the development of colleagues.

In return, we offer a nurturing and forward-thinking workplace where you can access excellent opportunities for both personal and career advancement. Please note that the role involves flexible working patterns, which may include shifts across days, nights, weekends, and public holidays, depending on your assigned area.

A key requirement for these positions is the ability and readiness to travel across the service delivery region as needed.

Successful applicants will need to become a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme, as the duties involve working with vulnerable individuals. For more details on the PVG scheme, including how it works and its importance, please visit the official Disclosure Scotland website: https://www.disclosurescotland.co.uk/pvg-scheme.

If you’re an international applicant requiring sponsorship to work in the UK, we encourage you to review the eligibility requirements for the Skilled Worker or Health and Care Worker visa routes carefully. NHS Forth Valley may offer sponsorship for eligible roles that meet the necessary salary thresholds and other conditions. However, sponsorship is evaluated individually after interview and during pre-employment checks—it is not automatically guaranteed. For official guidance on visa options and requirements, refer to the UK Government’s Health and Care Worker visa page: https://www.gov.uk/health-care-worker-visa. We also recommend reading the dedicated advice for overseas candidates applying to health and social care roles in the UK: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/applying-for-health-and-social-care-jobs-in-the-uk-from-abroad.

We strongly advise all applicants to submit original, authentic responses in their application forms based on their own knowledge, skills, and experiences. The use of AI tools, automated systems, or third-party help to generate or heavily edit answers is not permitted and may lead to your application being withdrawn.

Due to expected high demand, this vacancy may close earlier than the advertised date once sufficient applications are received—so we recommend applying promptly.

NHS Forth Valley proudly operates as an Anchor Organisation and is fully committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion. We welcome applications from all backgrounds and are dedicated to eliminating discrimination while fostering a respectful workplace where everyone can thrive. We operate a guaranteed interview scheme for disabled applicants who meet the essential criteria—please contact our Recruitment Office at 0330 041 4694 to discuss any reasonable adjustments needed for your application or interview process.

Most communications will be sent via email, so please keep an eye on your inbox (including spam/junk folders) and your Jobtrain account for updates.
