We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our team at the Newport Dialysis Unit, a dynamic facility providing high-quality care to 120 patients. We partner closely with the NHS Trust to deliver safe, effective dialysis treatment in a supportive and innovative environment. You’ll be an integral part of the team, receiving excellent training and development to ensure high standards of care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop both theoretical knowledge and practical skills related to dialysis patient care.
  • Perform competent patient assessments and coordinate care needs with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of optimal treatment.
  • Act as a proactive mentor and resource for the nursing team, empowering patients and colleagues to share knowledge and skills.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with patients and Trust staff to support B. Braun’s business excellence.
  • Adhere to B. Braun’s Policies and Procedures, Quality Manual, and Health & Safety Guidelines.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • A qualified nurse with current NMC registration.
  • A strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
  • A passion for learning new skills and improving care practices.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to acquire and apply clinical techniques.
  • Flexibility to meet the unit’s patient care needs.

Hours & Schedule:

  • Full-time role, 37.5 hours per week.
  • Temporary for 12 months.
  • 3 x 11.5-hour shifts per week, plus an additional top-up shift monthly.
  • Long day shifts (07:00 – 18:30), Monday to Saturday on a rota system.
  • No Sunday or night shifts.
