Are you an experienced and compassionate leader looking to make a real impact in adult social care? Westmorland and Furness Council is offering an exciting opportunity for two motivated Registered Managers to join our residential care services in South Lakeland.
In this critical leadership role, you’ll be responsible for the overall delivery and quality of care, ensuring that services meet the highest standards, comply with all relevant regulations, and provide a positive experience for residents and staff alike.
About the Role
As a Registered Manager, you will:
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the residential care service
- Ensure full compliance with CQC standards, health and safety regulations, and all relevant legislative requirements
- Lead, develop, and support a committed care team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, wellbeing, and respect
- Prepare for and lead external inspections and internal reviews
- Manage budgets and resources effectively while maintaining a strong focus on person-centred care
- Champion the rights, dignity, and independence of adults in your care
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking candidates who:
- Have proven experience in managing regulated adult care services
- Possess strong knowledge of CQC regulations, adult safeguarding, and best practices in residential care
- Are confident leaders with excellent communication, organisational, and quality assurance skills
- Are committed to staff development and delivering compassionate, high-quality, person-focused services
- Can successfully manage resources and performance within a complex care environment
