Your Role
As a Nursing Associate, you will manage your own caseload as a Lead Professional, working closely with the wider team to deliver effective and personalised care.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing community-based mental health support and interventions
Working collaboratively with service users, families, and carers
Liaising with other health and social care services to ensure coordinated care
Contributing to recovery-focused care planning and delivery
Participating in supervision, reflective practice, and ongoing development
This role involves regular travel within the local area. A valid driving arrangement or alternative travel solution is essential (reasonable adjustments will be considered).
What You’ll Bring
Essential Qualifications
- Registered Nursing Associate with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC)
Nursing Associate Foundation Degree
GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English
Experience & Understanding
Awareness of the Nursing Associate role within a multidisciplinary team
Understanding and application of NMC professional standards
Ability to recognise when to seek guidance or escalate concerns
Knowledge of care planning and adherence to treatment pathways
Skills & Personal Attributes
- Strong communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive information
Ability to organise and prioritise workload effectively
Flexibility to manage varied and unpredictable work demands
Commitment to reflective practice and professional development
Ability to build positive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues
Capability to support and mentor learners within the clinical environment
Desirable
Experience in a healthcare or mental health setting
Qualification in teaching, supervision, or clinical assessment
