Guthrie Lourdes Hospital is seeking a Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Physician to join a growing, patient-focused team in the Southern Tier of New York. This role offers a balanced and varied clinical practice across inpatient, outpatient and ICU settings, supported by advanced technology, strong specialist collaboration and a culture that values compassion as much as clinical excellence.

Your clinical practice
This position offers a clearly structured and sustainable schedule:
- 26 weeks per year in outpatient pulmonary clinics and inpatient pulmonary rounding
- 13 weeks on / 13 weeks off ICU coverage
- Busy outpatient pulmonary practice located on the hospital campus
- Involvement in an established interventional pulmonary and lung volume reduction program
- Participation in an active robotic bronchoscopy service
- Integrated Epic electronic medical record (EMR) across the health system
- Teaching and mentoring opportunities with residency and fellowship programmes

Essential requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine
- Eligibility for medical licensure in New York State
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care

Compensation and benefits
Guthrie offers a comprehensive and competitive employment package:
- Base salary range: $361,000 – $448,000 (depending on experience)
- 6 weeks paid time off, plus paid holidays and sick leave
- Medical, dental, vision, prescription and disability insurance
- Malpractice coverage, including tail coverage
- Retirement options including 403(b) and 457(b) plans, plus HSA option
- Reimbursement of medical licence, DEA and renewal fees
- $15,000 physician referral bonus for successful full-time hires
