Overview of the Role
Guthrie Lourdes Hospital, part of the integrated Guthrie healthcare system, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pulmonologist with Critical Care expertise to join our busy mid-sized hospital in Binghamton, NY. This role combines inpatient and outpatient care, ICU coverage, and opportunities to contribute to cutting-edge interventional pulmonary programs.

Key Highlights
Clinical Practice:
- Split practice with 26 weeks in outpatient pulmonary medicine and 13 weeks of ICU coverage (rotating 13/13 schedule).
- Active interventional pulmonary program, including robotic bronchoscopy and lung volume reduction procedures.
- Exposure to complex pulmonary inpatient cases with integrated EMR (Epic).
Academic & Teaching Opportunities:
- Participate in residency and fellowship teaching programs.
- Opportunity for clinical academic appointments through Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine regional campus.
Support & Transition:
- Paid relocation up to $15,000 per IRS regulations.
- Assistance for accompanying partners.

Candidate Requirements
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine.
- Commitment to excellence in patient care, demonstrating compassion and professionalism.
- Strong communication skills and collaborative approach.
- Active U.S. medical license and DEA registration required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $361,000 – $448,000, commensurate with experience.
- Time Off: 6 weeks paid leave plus holidays and sick leave.
