Working Pattern
- 9 to 10 hours per day, depending on site and operational needs

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Power Line Technician, you will be involved in the safe construction, maintenance, and upgrading of high-voltage overhead line infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:
- Working in full compliance with UK Health & Safety and electrical regulations
- Carrying out rigging, blocking, suspension, jumpering, and earthing activities
- Supporting in-situ steel replacement works on transmission structures
- Using approved equipment and methods when working at height
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
- Maintaining a professional, disciplined, and safety-focused approach
- Working collaboratively within a site-based engineering team
Skills & Experience Required
Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Power Line Technician role or similar
- Proven experience working at height
- Hands-on knowledge of high-voltage transmission lines (110kV and above)
- Experience in construction and maintenance of overhead line systems
- Familiarity with pullers, tensioners, erection equipment, or tractor winches (desirable)
- Relevant formal qualifications (advantageous)
- A valid driving licence (UK or international equivalent – conversion support available)
