About the Role
Are you passionate about improving healthcare services and enhancing patient experiences? Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Patient Experience Administrator to join our dedicated Patient Experience team.
In this role, you will be central to capturing, managing, and reporting patient feedback, helping the Trust to continuously improve services. You will provide administrative support across divisions and ensure that patient voices directly influence care pathways and quality initiatives.
This role is ideal for individuals who are organized, empathetic, and proactive, with a keen interest in service improvement and healthcare administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a first point of contact for patient feedback, concerns, and enquiries
- Record, process, and manage data relating to patient experiences, including complaints, compliments, and PALS inquiries
- Support the Patient Experience team in quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain confidentiality, data protection standards, and adhere to Trust policies
- Assist in preparing reports for senior management to inform service development
Person Specification
Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to communicate sensitively and professionally with patients and staff
- Excellent team player and adaptable to a dynamic environment
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills to meet deadlines
Experience:
- Essential: Previous experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting, working effectively as part of a team
- Desirable: Experience in complaints handling, Patient and Public Involvement (PPI), or PALS administration
Qualifications:
- Essential: Good standard of education and proficiency in standard keyboard/IT skills
- Desirable: Familiarity with DATIX or similar patient feedback systems
Working Requirements:
- Willingness to work flexibly across health economy areas as required
