Leeds Sailing and Activity Centre (LSAC) is looking for passionate and experienced Outdoor Activity Instructors to deliver exciting, high-quality activities to people of all ages and abilities. If you have a love for the outdoors and a talent for instructing, we want you on our team!

What We’re Looking For

We need enthusiastic and motivated instructors who hold at least one of the following qualifications:

  • Sailing & Watersports: RYA Assistant Dinghy Instructor (or higher), RYA Start Windsurf Instructor (or higher), RYA Powerboat Instructor, RYA Safety Boat
  • Paddlesports: Paddlesport Instructor, Paddlesport Leadership Award, LSAC Statement of Competence, SUP Coach/Instructor
  • Adventure & Land-Based Activities: Off-Road Biking Instructor/Leader, British Rowing Session Coach, Bell Boat Helm Award, Archery GB Instructor, MLTE Rock Climbing Instructor/Climbing Wall Instructor
  • Additional Requirement: A valid First Aid qualification

Your Role at LSAC

As an Outdoor Activity Instructor, you’ll play a key role in delivering and developing LSAC’s activity programs. Your responsibilities will include:

✅ Leading fun, engaging, and safe sessions for diverse age groups and abilities
✅ Promoting outdoor activities through schools, colleges, and community events
✅ Ensuring high safety standards and excellent customer service
✅ Helping to identify and support young talent in outdoor activities
✅ Working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
