Contract: Permanent, Full-time, Full year
Salary: Grade 9 (£32,030 – £34,188, depending on experience)

About the Role

Pevensey & Westham CE Primary School is excited to launch a brand-new nursery for children aged 0-4, opening in September 2025. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Nursery Manager to lead this new provision, ensuring a high-quality early years experience for all children.

This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and establish a school-based nursery from the ground up. The successful candidate will start in July 2025, with the potential to work flexibly beforehand to support staff recruitment and pre-opening preparations.

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking a visionary Nursery Manager with:
Proven leadership experience in an early years setting.
Strong initiative to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
Expert knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
Commitment to safeguarding the welfare of all children.
Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
