We are seeking a full-time Nocturnist to join our highly collaborative Hospitalist team, serving a welcoming community that deeply appreciates its healthcare providers.
This role is ideal for a physician who feels comfortable managing an open ICU, caring for vented patients, and working closely with a dedicated network of nurses, therapists, and support staff at St. Mary Medical Center.
 The Opportunity
- Inpatient-only nocturnist position
- No call responsibilities
- 168 annual shifts
- Standard schedule: 14 nights on / 14 nights off, with potential flexibility
- Partnership with a highly trusted, collegial Hospitalist team established in 2007
- Tele-Critical Care support available

 What You’ll Bring
To excel in this role, candidates should have:
- Internal Medicine training (required)
- Ventilator management experience within the last two years
- Confidence caring for ICU patients in an open ICU model
- Prior community hospital experience (preferred but not required)
- New graduates with strong ICU exposure during residency are encouraged to apply
- Eligibility for J-1 or H-1B visa sponsorship
 Compensation & Professional Support
Annual compensation:
💲 $295,021 – $377,352 (range may include quality bonuses, productivity incentives, or extra-shift pay)
