About the role
Providence Medical Group–Walla Walla is seeking a skilled Nocturnist to join a cohesive and collaborative team serving St. Mary Medical Center. This position plays a vital role in overnight inpatient care, supported by a long-standing Hospitalist program known for strong relationships with nurses, therapists, and fellow physicians. Providers in this role must be prepared to manage an open ICU, including ventilated patients, and should have demonstrated ICU competency within the past two years.

Position Highlights
- 100% inpatient nighttime care with no call duties
- 168 shifts annually (14 on/14 off) with flexibility options
- Established and supportive Hospitalist program (founded 2007)
- Strong collaboration with all hospital departments and services
- Tele-Critical Care support available
- Open ICU must be comfortable managing critical patients and ventilators
- Internal Medicine board certification required
- Community hospital experience is advantageous
- New graduates with substantial ICU experience during residency may apply
- J-1 and H-1B visa candidates welcome
- Student loan assistance plus $5,500 annual CME
- Annual compensation range: $295,021–$377,352
