Night Service Support

  • Unlike many emergency services, the night team works within a fully supported clinical network.
  • A large daytime team handles first-opinion and referral cases
  • Clear handovers ensure continuity of care
  • Cases can be followed through with colleagues familiar with the patient history

Stable inpatients also benefit from nurse-led monitoring overnight, allowing the veterinary surgeon to focus on critical cases requiring advanced clinical decision-making.

Organisation Mission

Animal Trust operates as a Community Interest Company (CIC), meaning its core focus is improving access to veterinary care rather than generating profit.

The organisation aims to ensure that pets receive treatment whenever a viable medical option exists, regardless of financial circumstances. Transparent pricing and free consultations help reduce barriers for pet owners seeking urgent care.
