An exciting opportunity has become available for Band 5 Staff Nurses on the Neonatal Unit at Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust. We are looking for skilled, motivated, and enthusiastic nurses who are eager to embrace new challenges and work as part of our dynamic neonatal team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, family-integrated care within the Neonatal Unit.
- Act as a role model and clinical expert, promoting best practices.
- Build strong relationships with families and provide family-centered care.
- Communicate effectively across all levels of the multi-disciplinary team.
- Collaborate with the Community Neonatal Outreach Team to support families in preparation for discharge.
- Foster a progressive approach to care by engaging in research and evidence-based practice.
- Act as a named nurse for patient care, ensuring a smooth discharge pathway for families.
- Ensure safe care delivery in line with unit protocols and procedures.
- Provide compassionate, dignified care while efficiently managing time, tasks, and resources.
- Facilitate peer training and assessment, supporting staff development.
- Work within your competency boundaries and adhere to relevant protocols and standards.
