The Workplace
You will be based at Volkswagen’s European Flagship Dealership in Brentford—a state-of-the-art site designed to support both technical excellence and customer experience. The facility includes:
- A 25-ramp workshop with modern diagnostic equipment
- An indoor used car showroom
- A multi-storey on-site car park
- Dedicated customer spaces, including the Camper Café

Visa Sponsorship Information
Citygate is able to offer Skilled Worker visa sponsorship for this role. Sponsorship is available only to applicants who already hold Volkswagen Audi Group (VAG) Master Technician Accreditation. Candidates meeting this requirement are encouraged to apply.
Your Key Responsibilities
As a Master Technician, your role will combine advanced technical work, quality assurance, and team support. Responsibilities include:
- Completing servicing and repair work in line with manufacturer standards
- Carrying out complex diagnostics to identify faults and determine effective solutions
- Producing electronic visual health checks (eVHCs) with clear recommendations for customers
- Communicating directly with service advisors and, where appropriate, customers
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately, and to the highest quality standards
- Preparing written and verbal reports for workshop control and authorisation purposes
- Identifying tooling or equipment needs and escalating issues appropriately
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop
- Mentoring and supporting apprentice and developing technicians
- Participating in training programmes, meetings, and technical updates
- Providing wider team support when required
What We’re Looking For
You will bring strong technical capability alongside a professional, customer-focused approach. Ideally, you will have:
- Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
- A background within the Volkswagen Audi Group environment
- VAG Master Technician Accreditation (essential for visa sponsorship)
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain technical issues clearly
- Effective time management and the ability to work to deadlines
