Salary: Approx. £22,293 per annum (Pro Rata, Term-Time Only)

About the Role

The Education Division’s Interim Provision Service (IPS) is looking for highly experienced and dynamic Learning Mentors to support children and young people with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) who are awaiting school placements.

As a Learning Mentor, you will:
✔ Manage a caseload of students, providing tailored SEND and targeted interventions.
✔ Support school transitions, working closely with school staff, SENCOs, and pastoral teams.
✔ Develop positive relationships with parents/carers and lead weekly safeguarding welfare checks.
✔ Help children access online learning by offering technical support and guidance at home.
✔ Assist in the day-to-day running of the learning centre, ensuring health and safety compliance.

What We’re Looking For

✅ Experience working with children and young people in an educational or mentoring capacity.
✅ Strong communication skills to engage with students, parents, and school staff.
