Lead Veterinary Surgeon

What You’ll Be Doing
As Lead Veterinary Surgeon you will:
- Provide excellent clinical care in consults and surgery.
- Set and promote high veterinary and surgical standards.
- Mentor and develop a supportive team of RVNs and students.
- Build strong client relationships with clear, evidence-based decisions.
- Work with the Head Nurse on rota planning and workflow.
- Lead audits, protocols and quality-improvement initiatives.
About You
You’re the right fit if you:
- Hold MRCVS registration and have solid general practice experience.
- Enjoy leadership and helping others grow.
- Are confident with both routine and some more complex medical/surgical cases.
- Have, or are working toward, a postgraduate certificate (supported by us!).

Rota & Hours
- 3–4 days per week (with a 1-in-3 Saturday morning rota).
- No Bank Holidays, no out-of-hours on-call.
