 Role Overview
As Lead Veterinary Surgeon, you will:
- Lead daily clinical operations, setting standards for medical and surgical care
- Mentor, develop, and line-manage Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs), and support student training
- Oversee case continuity, rota planning, and workflow alongside the Head Nurse
- Contribute to audits, protocols, and quality improvement initiatives across the practice and region
- Foster trusted client relationships, providing clear, confident, and evidence-based guidance
- For guidance on workplace health and safety in veterinary and clinical environments

 Candidate Profile
- MRCVS-qualified with solid small-animal experience
- Comfortable with routine surgery and medicine; confident managing complex cases with referral support
- Collaborative communicator who enjoys coaching and developing team members
- Certificate holders or those working towards a certificate are encouraged (support provided)

UK Qualifications Recognition
 Rota & Hours
- 3–4 days per week
- 1 in 3 Saturday morning rota
- No Bank Holidays or on-call duties
