Veterinary Surgeon – Medivet Salisbury

A welcoming practice in the heart of a historic city

Medivet Salisbury is a friendly, well-established veterinary practice located right in the centre of Salisbury, just a short walk from the city’s iconic cathedral. We’re proud to be a trusted part of the local community and are now looking for a Veterinary Surgeon who wants to build a rewarding career in a supportive and close-knit team.

This role offers the chance to work in a well-equipped, thoughtfully designed practice with a varied caseload and the backing of a wider clinical network.

Your working environment

The practice is set up to support efficient, high-quality clinical care, with:

  • Three spacious consultation rooms
  • A dedicated preparation area and fully equipped operating theatre
  • Two kennel rooms
  • On-site laboratory and storage facilities
  • Diagnostic imaging including x-ray (with dental capability) and ultrasound

You’ll be working alongside a welcoming and experienced team made up of 2 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Student Veterinary Nurse, and 2 Client Care Assistants, all committed to providing excellent care to patients and clients alike.

What you’ll be doing

In this role, you’ll:

  • Deliver high-quality clinical care during consultations and surgical procedures
  • Create clear, tailored treatment plans in partnership with clients
  • Work collaboratively with nurses and support staff to deliver seamless patient care
  • Share knowledge and experience to help develop colleagues and the wider Medivet community
  • Maintain high standards of professional and regulatory compliance

About you

You’re a qualified MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon with a strong commitment to clinical excellence and client communication. You enjoy being part of a team and want to work in a practice where your contribution is recognised and supported.
