JOB SUMMARY

• Job Title: Forklift Technician (Electric Focus)
• Full-time, permanent.
• Location: Ford Farm, Ford Ln, Upton Grey, Basingstoke RG25 2RP.
• Shift and Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced forklift technician with good electrical skills to join our well-equipped facility in Basingstoke. While your primary responsibilities will include electrical and mechanical work on forklifts and material handling equipment, you will also play an important role in guiding other team members and contributing to the smooth operation of our workshop.

Key responsibilities:

-Conduct electrical and mechanical repairs, maintenance, and servicing on forklifts and material handling equipment.

-Diagnose and resolve electrical problems rapidly.

-Ensure that every finished work satisfies safety and quality requirements.

-Help to manage the workshop and support other team members.
-Occasional travel to off-site locations for service and repairs.

What We Are Looking For:

-Demonstrates extensive electrical engineering experience, notably with forklifts and other related equipment.

-Mechanical experience and credentials are also valuable.

-Ability to diagnose and resolve issues, particularly electrical defects.

-Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset.

-A willingness to mentor and encourage inexperienced engineers.

-A valid driver’s license and personal transportation (our location is rural).

-A commitment to following health and safety rules.

–Sponsorship candidates must have English language skills at the B1 level or higher.
