Social Media Manager

We’re seeking a talented Social Media Manager to lead the creation of engaging content and drive interaction across our global social media channels. Social media plays a critical role in promoting the MSC’s mission, raising awareness of our blue label, engaging seafood consumers and stakeholders, and reinforcing our position as a global leader in sustainable seafood.
What You’ll Do
As Social Media Manager, you will:
- Develop compelling and visually engaging content for a variety of social media platforms
- Stay ahead of evolving trends, algorithms, and best practices to maximise reach and engagement
- Manage organic, paid, and earned content across platforms, tailoring output to meet specific channel requirements
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to amplify the MSC’s message and storytelling globally
- Apply your graphic design and video editing skills to create high-quality multimedia content
- Contribute to a global communications strategy that highlights the impact of sustainable fishing
What We’re Looking For
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Proven creativity and storytelling skills tailored for social media
- Deep understanding of current social trends, platform algorithms, and content formats
- Experience managing integrated social campaigns across paid, organic, and earned media
- Strong design and editing skills, including advanced use of Canva Pro and the Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across international teams and partners
- A passion for sustainability and the mission of the MSC
Work Environment and Flexibility
This is a hybrid role based in our London office. You’ll be expected to work onsite at least 50% of your time each month. Additional in-office presence may be required during onboarding. Please note: only candidates with the right to work in the UK can be considered for this role, as we are unable to offer visa sponsorship at this time.
