Wyvil Primary School, located in the heart of London, is an innovative and vibrant educational environment spread across three sites. We operate two mainstream campuses with integrated resource base classes for children with Autism and Speech and Language needs, as well as an Autism Resource Base in Kennington.
We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and compassionate Early Years Practitioner to join our inclusive and ambitious EYFS team. While you will be primarily working within a mainstream EYFS setting, you will have a strong focus on supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Experience working with children with Autism and Speech and Language needs is advantageous. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their independence and leadership within an EYFS team and who aspires to further their career, potentially in teaching.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils, including those with special educational needs, ensuring their safety and access to learning activities.
- Lead SEND interventions such as Attention Autism bucket time, Sensory circuits, SALT, and PECS.
- Share best practices and contribute to the development of others.
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, inclusion, and children’s learning progress.
- Foster a supportive, challenging, and inclusive environment for children and adults.
- Work flexibly and collaboratively within a team, using shared approaches for learning.
- Create engaging and stimulating learning experiences both inside and outside the classroom.
