  • Providing excellent client service.
  • Identifying New Sales Opportunities
  • Developing new partnerships with regional hauliers.
  • Develop and grow the business in your given area.
  • Responds to client queries and requests.
  • Arranges transport in accordance with current legislation.
  • Liaises with other parties such as the shipper, consignee, or nominated contacts to ensure that transportation details are precise.
  • Develops solid working relationships with international partners.
  • Consider and plan the most efficient route for goods.
  • Organising the movement of goods between numerous destinations—usually cargo terminals, port facilities, etc.
  • Maintaining a strong channel of communication with the customer, keeping them updated on the progress of items.
  • Taking proper measures for the transportation of fragile products
  • Complying with the country’s legal standards and ensuring the relevant documentation is completed.
  • Keeping up with legislation developments that may effect freight transportation.
  • Negotiating rates with suppliers and customers, as well as organising appropriate vehicles and transportation arrangements.
  • Communicating effectively with the larger operational department

 

Qualifications:

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • GCSE in Mathematics and English
  • Some experience from a similar workplace is preferred.
  • Good communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to operate under pressure and cope with high volume peaks
  • Good team player who can work on separate things.
  • ambitious with a view to progress within the company.
