JOB SUMMARY
This post, which is part of Henley Business School’s Engagement, Employability, and Entrepreneurship division, helps to secure gifts from corporate and individual contributors, with an emphasis on supporting the Reading Real Estate Foundation (RREF).
The postholder will be in charge of creating and maintaining external partnerships that will allow us to meet our fundraising goals, as well as collaborating with the team to create and implement fundraising engagement initiatives.
Working closely with the Director of Engagement, Employability, and Entrepreneurship, the chosen applicant will be ambitious, self-motivated, and a team player with strong relationship-building abilities.
You’ll have:
- Experience with fundraising, business development, or a similar results-oriented, outward-facing environment.
- Experience collaborating with and influencing senior executives and external stakeholders.
- The capacity to create and maintain relationships with highly successful persons in a variety of business areas
- Excellent interpersonal abilities, including tact and diplomacy.
- Effective communication skills at any level, both written and oral
- Ability to operate efficiently under pressure with tight deadlines.
