About the role:

The Data Analyst position is ideal for people who are passionate about data administration and analysis. This work entails extracting, cleaning, and interpreting huge amounts of data to give actionable insights that drive decision-making and aid in the creation of high-quality SaaS solutions. Responsibilities:

  • Data is extracted from primary and secondary sources and then reorganised in a format that can be easily read by both humans and machines.
  • Using statistical methods to understand data sets, with a focus on trends and patterns that may be useful for diagnostic and predictive analytics.
  • Creating reports for management that highlight trends, patterns, and projections based on pertinent data.
  • Working with the engineering and product development teams to implement and improve data collection strategies.
  • Assisting with the development and deployment of database and data collection systems.
  • Ensure data integrity and correctness across all analytics activities.
  • Participating in continuing education and training to stay current on industry innovations and advances in data analysis tools and processes.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or another relevant discipline is required.
  • Experience with data models, database design, data mining, and segmentation approaches.
  • Proficient in statistical analysis tools (e.g., SAS, SPSS, R) and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the capacity to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate large volumes of information with precision and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills and the capacity to work constructively in a team setting.
