JOB SUMMARY
Salary for Associate Licencing Manager: Approximately £26,500 per year, variable based on experience.
Contract: Permanent position with flexibility to work remotely or at our main hubs in London, Bristol, Manchester, and Milton Park, Oxfordshire. You will be required to come to the office on a regular basis for team collaboration and meetings.

About the role:
Jisc Licencing negotiates agreements with vendors for content and software solutions that will allow our customers to provide a superior student experience, conduct high-quality research and innovation, and facilitate digital transformation.
As an Associate Licencing Manager in the Corporate Information Systems (CIS) portfolio, you will work with a team to licence software and blended solutions that meet the educational needs of UK and Irish further and higher education institutions.
You will collaborate closely with Licencing Managers and Licencing Portfolio Specialists, attending meetings and assisting them with negotiations and licencing activities. As your confidence grows, you will be asked to negotiate, licence, and manage agreements, gaining ownership of them and accepting responsibility for their successful execution.
You will assist Licencing Managers in the establishment of processes and systems that allow for the successful collection, collation, and exchange of data both internally and externally, as well as collaborate with licencing managers on agreement evaluation.
Key Skill and Experience:
• Knowledge of or expertise with higher or further education institutions, as well as software licencing.
• Previous negotiation experience. If you have previous expertise interacting with software providers, that is ideal.
• An understanding of software and its administration.
• A fundamental understanding of licence agreements.
• Adaptability, the ability to operate well with a wide range of conditions, individuals, and groups.
• A proactive approach with the ability to think imaginatively and accomplish tasks.
