About the Opportunity

Aston University is seeking an experienced International Conversion Manager to lead its international student conversion function and help strengthen the University’s global recruitment performance.

This is a key role within the international recruitment operation. You will be responsible for leading a dedicated conversion team, developing effective engagement approaches and using student recruitment data to improve the journey from offer through to enrolment.

Working closely with teams across Admissions, Marketing and International Recruitment, you will help ensure prospective international students receive timely, relevant and engaging communications throughout the decision-making process.

The successful candidate will bring a combination of leadership experience, strategic thinking and a strong understanding of international higher education recruitment.

Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will:

– Lead, support and develop a high-performing international conversion team.
– Create and implement strategies designed to improve offer-holder engagement and enrolment outcomes.
– Manage conversion projects and coordinate activity across multiple teams.
– Develop targeted, multi-channel communications for prospective international students.
– Monitor recruitment data and identify opportunities to improve conversion performance.
– Use market intelligence and performance insights to guide decisions.
– Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders.
– Help deliver a positive and consistent experience for international applicants and offer holders.
– Track the impact of conversion activity and make improvements where required.

You should have demonstrable experience of managing and developing a successful team, along with the ability to coordinate projects and work confidently with a range of stakeholders.
