We’re inviting an adaptable and enthusiastic Salaried GP to join our permanent floater team, supporting a small network of supportive Tameside practices. This role offers stability with variety — you’ll have a main base practice, with occasional planned cover across our other sites when colleagues are on leave.

It’s a great fit for GPs who enjoy teamwork, continuity of care, and a well-run clinical environment.

Person Specification

Essential Requirements

  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
  • Completion of MRCGP, or due to complete imminently
  • Included on, or eligible for, the NHS England GP Performers List
  • Recent experience working in UK General Practice
  • Strong clinical, communication, and organisational skills
  • Confidence working within a multidisciplinary team
  • Competence using EMIS Web and Docman
  • Right to work in the UK or eligibility for visa sponsorship

Desirable Experience

  • Working across multiple GP practices or networks
  • Special clinical interests (e.g. women’s health, minor surgery, palliative care, teaching)
  • Experience in training, mentoring, or supervision
  • Additional qualifications relevant to General Practice

Safeguarding & Pre-Employment Checks

  • This role is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and requires an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
