The Role

As a Front-End Engineer, you’ll be responsible for shaping how enterprise users interact with AI in production environments. This is not a hand-off role—you’ll own features from concept to deployment and play a central role in defining the product experience.

You’ll work closely with engineers, early customers, and leadership to translate loosely defined problems into intuitive, reliable interfaces that people trust to run mission-critical workflows.

Until a dedicated design function is in place, you’ll also contribute directly to product and interaction design decisions.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Designing and building new user-facing features from idea through production
• Translating emerging AI interaction patterns into practical, usable interfaces
• Working directly with users to understand real problems and validate solutions
• Contributing to product and UX decisions as part of a small, fast-moving team
• Collaborating across engineering, product, and business functions
• Developing and maintaining a scalable front-end architecture and design system
• Ensuring high standards of performance, accessibility, and usability
• Tech Stack: React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS (with Python used elsewhere in the platform)

About You

You’re an experienced front-end engineer who enjoys ambiguity and takes pride in building polished, thoughtful user experiences.

You likely have:

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with deep React experience
• Comfort working alongside back-end systems and APIs (Python familiarity preferred)
• A strong instinct for UI/UX, even if you haven’t held a formal design title
• The ability to choose the right tools for speed today and scale tomorrow
• Experience turning unclear requirements into production-ready solutions quickly
• Clear communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
• A mindset suited to early-stage teams: build, ship, learn, iterate

Nice to Have (But Not Required)

• Experience working with AI-powered or LLM-based products
• Strong visual or interaction design sensibility and attention to detail
• Exposure to procurement, supply chain, or manufacturing domains
• We value curiosity and learning speed—many successful candidates won’t tick every box.

Compensation & Benefits

We believe exceptional people deserve meaningful rewards and ownership:

• Base salary: £100,000 – £110,000
