About the Opportunity

Magentic is seeking its first Growth Marketer to help shape and lead the company’s go-to-market strategy. This is a unique foundational role where you will collaborate directly with the founders to determine how the company reaches and engages its ideal customers.

As the first dedicated marketing hire, you will help build the growth framework from the ground up. Your work will involve identifying target customer segments, testing messaging strategies, experimenting with acquisition channels, and building scalable marketing processes.

Key Responsibilities

In this role you will play a central part in building Magentic’s marketing and growth strategy. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with the CEO to define ideal customer profiles and buyer personas
  • Developing a clear and compelling market narrative for Magentic’s AI platform
  • Running data-driven growth experiments across multiple acquisition channels
  • Using AI tools and marketing automation platforms to analyse performance and optimise campaigns
  • Translating customer feedback and insights into improvements in product messaging and positioning
  • Building the foundation for a repeatable and scalable growth engine

This role would suit a professional who enjoys ownership, experimentation, and building new systems from scratch.

You may be a strong candidate if you:

  • Have experience driving growth in early-stage B2B technology startups
  • Are comfortable working across the entire marketing lifecycle including research, campaigns, and analytics
  • Possess a strong combination of analytical thinking and creative storytelling
  • Are highly experimental and comfortable running rapid marketing tests
  • Demonstrate strong initiative and the ability to work closely with founders and product teams

Recruitment Process

The hiring process is designed to help both the candidate and the company determine whether the role is the right fit.

Stage 1 – Introductory Call (30 minutes)
An informal conversation to discuss the role, company mission, and your experience.

Stage 2 – Skills Interview (60 minutes)
You will present relevant past work or case studies and discuss your approach to growth strategy.

Stage 3 – Final Interview Day
Candidates will be invited to meet the team in person, participate in a role-related task, and gain a deeper understanding of the working environment.

Stage 4 – Founder Interview
A discussion with the CEO about the company’s long-term vision and your potential role in shaping it.
