Job Description
About the Company
Our platform enables security teams to detect cloud intrusions rapidly and reliably using canary-based deception technology—deploying smart, lightweight decoys that alert teams the moment an attacker interacts with them.
We are at a pivotal moment in our growth journey:
- Backed by leading early-stage investors, including Accel and Tapestry.
- Experiencing rapid expansion (doubling ARR last quarter).
- Trusted by well-known organisations such as Riot Games, Docker, Synthesia, Coveo and Snyk, alongside several large confidential clients.
- Featured across multiple industry “top startup” lists, including those from Creandum, Sifted, AlbionVC, Notion, and Accel.
- Our research recently contributed to resolving a critical security vulnerability in Google’s Gemini CLI.
- The team has grown from 2 to 11 people within 18 months, and we expect headcount to triple again as we move into the next phase of scaling.
We operate a streamlined, powerful technical stack capable of processing billions of events per week, built on a mix of familiar industry technologies (AWS, IaC, CD) and some unconventional but highly effective design decisions.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who:
- Is passionate about producing high-quality engineering work and can balance speed with long-term code stability.
- Has experience shipping software at scale or in environments where reliability is critical.
- Ideally brings experience from a product-led company or working with a major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
- Thrives in the fast-changing environment of an ambitious early-stage startup.
- Enjoys getting features into customers’ hands quickly while still having fun building with a small, smart team.
- If you don’t tick every box but believe you bring something unique—we still encourage you to apply.
The Role
You will report directly to Sam, our CTO and Co-Founder, and work closely with the rest of the engineering team (Michael, Niall, Rahul, Dancho and Ed).
What You’ll Do
Collaborate directly with both founders and customers to deliver a product that solves real, high-value security challenges.
Work across the full stack, including:
- C# / .NET 8
- Terraform
- HTMX for frontend development
- Contribute to a mature engineering culture built by technical founders who prioritise strong practices: CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, simple and scalable architecture.
- Ship code daily, with minimal bureaucracy but high levels of ownership.
- Build features end-to-end, from shaping requirements to deployment.
Work Environment
- We operate from a Central London office next to Warren Street station.
- This is a 5-days-in-office role, designed around high-bandwidth collaboration and rapid iteration.
- Flexibility is offered for unavoidable commitments (family visits, deliveries, travel, etc.), but we aren’t a hybrid or remote-first organisation.
