We are now seeking a Faculty Change Lead to drive a significant programme of service transformation across the Faculty.
The Role
This fixed-term appointment (to July 2027) will play a central leadership role in delivering functional review and service simplification projects across professional services within the Faculty of Engineering Sciences.
You will:
- Lead business case development for service transformation initiatives
- Shape and deliver a communications and stakeholder engagement strategy
- Coordinate workshops, meetings and faculty-wide consultation activities
- Gather and analyse operational data to inform decision-making
- Work in partnership with Faculty Office colleagues and central UCL teams
- Support the design and implementation of improved operating models
- The aim is to ensure consistent, efficient and sustainable service provision across academic departments and faculty-level teams.
This is a highly collaborative role requiring influence across multiple service areas, careful management of competing priorities, and strong strategic oversight.
Your Experience
We are looking for a senior professional who can demonstrate:
- Graduate-level education or equivalent professional experience
- A strong track record in higher or further education professional services
- Experience leading complex strategic improvement or change programmes
- Proven ability to deliver projects across departments with conflicting timelines
- Strong self-management skills and the ability to assess broader organisational impact
- Confidence navigating governance structures and institutional priorities
- You will be comfortable working at pace in a large, complex organisation, while maintaining clarity, transparency and stakeholder trust.
