About the Role

You will play a central role in monitoring student engagement and academic progress. By collecting, interpreting, and reporting on performance data, you will help identify students who may need additional support and coordinate timely referrals to relevant services.

Working closely with academic and professional teams, you will transform complex information into actionable insight that informs institutional planning, quality assurance, and student success initiatives.

Based in the Library at the Whiteknights campus, you will join a collaborative and forward-thinking environment that actively promotes professional development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, organise, and analyse student engagement and attainment data
  • Identify trends and early indicators of academic risk
  • Initiate supportive contact with students and coordinate referrals
  • Prepare analytical reports for institutional review and planning
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of engagement processes
  • Work collaboratively with academic and student support teams

What We’re Looking For

You will bring a balance of analytical capability and people-focused communication skills, including:

  • A maths-based A-level qualification or equivalent hands-on data analysis experience
  • Confidence working with numerical data and identifying meaningful patterns
  • Strong interpersonal skills and sensitivity when engaging with students
  • Understanding of factors influencing student engagement and achievement
  • Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
  • Experience in a student-facing, advisory, or customer-focused role
  • Clear written communication and reporting skills
