Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Kronospan is offering exciting opportunities for Electrical Maintenance Technicians to join our expanding engineering team at our Chirk site in North Wales. These full-time, permanent roles offer competitive salaries, with earnings up to £45,000 per annum for day shifts and £52,000+ on shift work (including shift allowance, overtime, and bonus).

We also offer relocation assistance of up to £8,000, as well as home office employer sponsorship and financial support towards visa applications.

Day Electrical Technician Hours:

Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30

Alternatively, 4 days per week, Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 17:00

Shift Electrical Technician Hours:

Full Continental shift pattern, 4 on 4 off (06:00 – 18:00 & 18:00 – 06:00)

The Electrical Technician Role Includes:

  • Providing front-line maintenance support for key areas of our state-of-the-art plant
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • Bringing fresh ideas and looking for better ways to operate
  • Actively participating in planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
  • A hands-on individual with a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude
