Skills Provision Ltd is currently recruiting for a Drainage Engineer on behalf of a growing environmental services company operating across the London region.
The organisation specialises in environmental maintenance and infrastructure services and is expanding its operational workforce. This role involves working on a range of drainage systems across both commercial and residential sites, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.

Pay and Working Hours
- Hourly Rate: £15.47 – £18.61 depending on experience and technical ability
- Minimum Working Hours: 48 hours per week

Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will assist with a variety of drainage and environmental maintenance tasks, including:
- Carrying out drainage repair and maintenance work
- Performing jetting, excavation, and installation of drainage systems and manholes
- Supporting pest control and environmental service operations where required
- Visiting multiple job locations including residential and commercial properties
- Using specialised tools and machinery to clear blockages and drainage faults
- Driving light commercial vehicles to transport equipment and materials
- Participating in training programmes related to operational procedures and safety
- Information on construction and site safety regulations
Candidate Requirements
Experience
- Previous experience in drainage, maintenance, or a similar technical role is beneficial but not essential
- Individuals with backgrounds in construction, maintenance, or handyman services often adapt well to this role
Driving Requirements
- Valid UK driving licence or an International Driving Permit
- Experience driving light commercial vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes
- Assistance with licence conversion may be available for international applicants
- Information on driving in the UK and licence exchange
