We are excited to share an opening for a Health Care Assistant/Phlebotomist within the Community Treatment and Care (CTAC) service, part of Forth Valley Community Nursing Services at NHS Forth Valley.
Recent developments in primary care have created new opportunities for Health Care Assistants to join this growing team, delivering essential treatment and support in community settings. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with General Practice teams and Community Nursing staff to provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
You’ll join a dedicated team and perform daily delegated tasks, primarily focusing on:
- Phlebotomy (blood sampling)
- Blood pressure monitoring
- Other routine clinical support activities

- Working Hours Change: Starting 1 April 2026, the standard full-time working week for Agenda for Change staff in NHS Scotland will reduce from 37 to 36 hours (with part-time hours adjusted pro-rata). This comes with a corresponding increase in the hourly rate, ensuring no impact on overall pay.
