What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will work at the intersection of education and employability, helping students develop the skills, confidence, and awareness needed to succeed in a competitive job market.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Embedding Employability: Partnering with academic departments to integrate career development into course content
Career Coaching: Supporting students through one-to-one guidance, workshops, and group sessions
Labour Market Insight: Analysing employment trends and translating data into practical advice for students
Project Leadership: Managing key initiatives that enhance student outcomes and graduate success
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborating with colleagues, employers, and external partners to strengthen opportunities for students
What You’ll Bring
You will be someone who can combine insight, empathy, and strategic thinking. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- A degree (arts or humanities background is welcomed)
A professional qualification in careers guidance, coaching, or a related field (or working towards one)
Experience influencing and collaborating with diverse stakeholders
Strong analytical ability, with confidence in interpreting and presenting data
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proven ability to manage projects and balance competing priorities
Knowledge of UK graduate recruitment trends and labour market developments
