 What You’ll Be Doing
As part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team (MDT), you will:
- Carry out mental health assessments and risk evaluations
Deliver evidence-based interventions and therapeutic support
Work collaboratively with young people, families, and carers
Contribute to care planning and ongoing treatment reviews
Participate in clinical supervision and professional development
Support students and junior staff where appropriate
You’ll be encouraged to bring your ideas forward and help shape how services are delivered.

 Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- Current registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) (RNMH or RNLD)
Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD)
Willingness to complete supervision/assessor training within 6 months
Essential Experience
- Minimum 18 months post-qualification experience
Experience working with children, young people, or families
Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
Experience in clinical supervision or student support
Knowledge & Skills
Understanding of:
- Mental Health Act & Mental Capacity Act
Safeguarding practices
Risk assessment and clinical governance
Awareness of psychological models and treatment approaches
Basic knowledge of medicines management
