About the Opportunity
The Governance group within the Department of Leadership, Organisations, Behaviour & Reputation is expanding and seeks an accomplished academic to join as Professor in Governance. This appointment is aimed at a scholar with an internationally recognised research presence and a strong commitment to executive-level teaching.
You will become part of a forward-looking academic environment that encourages innovation, professional growth, and impactful scholarship. The role blends research leadership with high-level teaching, particularly for experienced professionals and senior decision-makers.
Key Contributions
In this role, you will:
- Advance an internationally visible research agenda in governance, producing work suitable for leading academic journals
- Teach and design executive-level learning for post-experience MBA, Executive MA/MSc, and Executive Education cohorts
- Engage senior professionals — including directors and board-level participants — using modern, applied teaching approaches
- Support academic leadership, mentoring, and collaborative initiatives within the department
- Build strong professional relationships with experienced learners and colleagues
