Job Description
Area Veterinary Surgeon — Cluster Leadership Role
Medivet | Chelmsford Area | Multi-Site Clinical Position
This is a career step for an experienced veterinary surgeon who enjoys variety, leadership, and shaping how high-quality care is delivered across multiple practices. Medivet is seeking an Area Vet to support a cluster of clinics around Chelmsford — blending hands-on clinical work with mentorship, governance oversight, and professional development support.
Rather than being tied to a single site, you’ll act as a trusted clinical resource across practices — strengthening standards, guiding teams, and helping create consistent, excellent patient and client experiences.
 Why This Role Is Different
This position combines frontline veterinary work with advisory leadership. You’ll influence how care is delivered across several clinics while remaining clinically active. It’s ideal for someone organised, confident, and motivated by helping others grow.
You’ll be supported by Medivet’s wider professional network, internal learning systems, and collaborative leadership culture — ensuring you have both autonomy and backing.
